Privacy Policy

This site collects the enquiry you choose to send us, a cookieless count of page visits, and — only if you allow it — whether an advert brought you here. Below is exactly what happens to each.

Who is responsible for your data

Wolvate Sports operates this website and decides how the information described below is used. We manufacture sportswear for other businesses; we do not sell to consumers and we do not run an online shop.

For anything on this page, write to [email protected]. We answer data requests at the same address as everything else.

What we collect, and only when you send it

The enquiry form on this site asks for your name, your company or brand name and a work email address. A WhatsApp number, a description of what you want made and how you heard about us are optional; the form works without them.

When the form is submitted, our server also records the country your request came from, as reported by our hosting provider, and the time of submission. We do this so the sales team knows which market an enquiry is for and in which language to reply.

We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details, identity documents or any special category of personal data. Please do not send them.

Why we are allowed to hold it

You send an enquiry because you want a quotation. We use the information to prepare that quotation and to reply to you — steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running a manufacturing business.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees it

Two service providers process your enquiry on our behalf. Cloudflare hosts this website and delivers it worldwide; its servers handle your request and keep short-lived technical logs. Resend delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email.

Both act on our instructions and neither is permitted to use your information for their own purposes. Beyond them we do not sell your data, and nothing you write in the message box ever leaves us. Google Ads is told that an enquiry was submitted, so that we can count it. If — and only if — you allowed advertising cookies, it is also told a scrambled, one-way version of your email address and phone number, which your browser produces before anything is sent: Google can compare that scrambled value against its own records to work out which advert brought you here, and cannot read your address or number back out of it. Decline the cookies and none of it is sent at all.

Cookies and tracking

We count visits using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It records which page was opened, which site referred you, your browser and operating system type, your country and how quickly the page loaded. It does that without cookies, without storing anything on your device and without building a profile of you. Nothing about it needs your permission, and we ask for none.

We also advertise. When we do, we need to know whether an advert actually brought someone here, otherwise we are paying for clicks we cannot account for. Measuring that requires Google Ads to set a cookie on your device, and that does need your permission — which is what the small panel in the corner asks for the first time you arrive.

Until you answer it, no advertising cookie is set. If you decline, none is ever set: the site behaves identically, you simply become invisible to our advertising reports. If you allow it, Google Ads stores an identifier that lets it match your enquiry back to the advert you clicked. It expires by itself, and you can clear it at any time by deleting cookies for this site, which also brings the panel back so you can change your mind.

Either way we do not use it to show you adverts elsewhere, we do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell anything to anyone. Beyond Google Ads there are no third-party trackers on this site, and no social media buttons that report your visit.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence stays in our inbox for as long as the conversation is commercially live, and afterwards for as long as we may need it for accounting, warranty or legal reasons.

If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask and we will, unless a law obliges us to keep a record.

Where it is processed

We are based in Türkiye and our team reads your enquiry there. Our providers operate globally, which means your information may be processed outside the country you wrote from, including outside the European Economic Area.

Where that involves personal data of people in the EEA or the UK, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for international transfers.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, or object to us holding it at all. You can also ask for it in a portable form.

Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority; if you are in Türkiye, to the Kişisel Verileri Koruma Kurumu.

Changes to this notice

When our practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top is updated. We do not make changes quietly.
