The factory behind other people’s labels

Wolvate has manufactured sportswear since 2010. Every order leaves the building carrying your brand alone — your woven labels, your care tags, your packaging. What we supply is production capacity, a real fabric sheet and the discipline to hold a delivery date.

How we work

Four decisions that shape everything we produce

Fabric to your spec

Our standing library spans 100 to 380 GSM, and it is a starting point rather than a limit — name a composition and a weight and we knit it.

Scale without losing the detail

Up to 2,500 garments a working day. The same floor runs a 10-piece test drop and a repeat bulk programme, so a brand does not have to change factory when it grows.

No black boxes

Fabric booking, print, cutting, sewing, inline checks, pre-shipment inspection — milestone updates go out as production moves. You should never have to ask where your order is.

Design in-house, free

A ten-person team takes a sketch to a 3D mockup and then to a physical prototype, at no charge. Bring a finished tech pack instead and we simply produce to it.

What you get

Everything a white-label sportswear brand needs, under one roof

100% Your Brand

Custom woven neck labels, printed care and wash instructions, hangtags, polybags and branded cartons — all applied in-house. Your logo sits on every touchpoint the customer sees. Ours sits on none.

Fabric Made to Your Spec

Our standing library runs from a 100 GSM rain shell to a 380 GSM modal blend, and it is a starting point rather than a limit — we knit to your composition and weight. Ask for 68% polyester / 32% elastane at 195 GSM and that is what gets made, instead of being talked into the closest thing already on the shelf.

From 10 Pieces to Repeat Bulk

Test a new market or an aggressive design without committing to stock you cannot sell — minimums start at ten pieces per style and colourway. The same line then carries the winner into a standing programme: repeat runs held to one colour standard, on a production calendar agreed in advance. Neither end is a different factory.

2,500 Garments a Day, Since 2010

Our facility produces and dispatches up to 2,500 finished garments every working day — around 55,000 a month — and bulk runs in 10 to 14 days once the specification is approved, shipping transit on top. Repeat orders are matched to the approved sample rather than re-interpreted, so the third run looks like the first. A drop date agreed months ago still holds when your volumes move.

Free Design, In-House

A ten-person design team works on your range at no charge, for every product group we make. Send a logo and a direction and you get artwork, colourways and a spec sheet back — most factories bill this out or push it back to the customer.

Your Language, Not a Translator

Account managers reply in your own language. Technical detail survives the conversation, which matters when the difference between two quotes is a GSM figure and a seam type.

Standards and certification: we hold ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 27001 for information security and ISO 28001 for supply chain security, alongside a Sedex SMETA ethical audit. Tell us which document your market or retailer requires and it is sent with the quote.

Fabric library

Fabric knitted to your specification

Name a composition and a weight and we knit it. The library below is what we keep running as standard — a starting point for most orders, and proof that we quote fabric by yarn construction and GSM rather than by adjective.

How the artwork gets onto the garment

Our quotes are built around two production routes, and the right one depends on your design rather than your budget.

  • Full sublimation

Dye is bonded into the fibre, so artwork cannot crack, peel or fade the way a transfer does. Unlimited colours, panel-to-panel graphics and gradients at no extra cost per colour.

  • Cut & sew

Colour blocking built from separately cut panels rather than printed. Used where a design needs genuine fabric contrast or a mix of textures in one garment.

  • Embroidery & appliqué

Woven and embroidered crests, sponsor marks and captain bands, applied in-house alongside your labelling.
