Custom Raincoat & Rain Jacket Manufacturer

The rain shell is the article we are asked for most often outside match kit, and it is the one where the fabric decides everything. We run a 3 mm calendered micro ripstop at 100 GSM — light enough to pack down, calendered so the weave closes rather than relying on a surface coating — and a 250 GSM bonded softshell carrying a genuine 3% PU membrane. Both take your lining, your labels and your artwork.

What we produce for raincoats

  • Rain jackets

    100 GSM calendered micro ripstop, with standard lining or fleece lining.

  • Softshell rain jackets

    Hooded, 250 GSM bonded softshell with a 3% PU membrane and mesh lining.

  • Lightweight pack-away shells

    The same 100 GSM ripstop unlined, for a shell that folds into its own pocket.

  • Rain trousers

    Cut from the same calendered ripstop, to complete the set.

These are the constructions we run as standard for this discipline, with the factory tolerance of ±5 GSM. They are a starting point — name your own composition and weight and we knit it instead.

Construction

How we build it

These are the details that do not show in a product photo and decide whether your customer orders a second time.

  • Calendered ripstop closes the weave itself rather than depending on a coating that washes off
  • Softshell carries a genuine bonded PU membrane, not a surface finish
  • Lining is specified per article — unlined, mesh-lined or fleece-lined
  • Zips, pullers, storm flaps and hood volume are specified per article rather than defaulted
